This is a company that makes a priority of offering its employees attractive conditions in the shape of systematic development programmes, market-led and performance-related remuneration, responsibility in managing their own working time, flexible pension arrangements and favourable fringe benefits – and this can be for your benefit too!
Education & Training
The Julius Baer Academy offers broad-based training and development programmes to promote our employees' professional careers and prospects in the labour market. Julius Baer also allows employees time and financial support to pursue external training and professional education.
Remuneration
Pay at Julius Baer is determined on the basis of the Total Compensation approach, consisting of basic salary, variable bonus payments and additional benefits.
The variable bonus payment is determined by the results achieved by the bank and the business unit, as well as by the employee’s individual performance. This is calculated during the annual goal-setting and evaluation exercise. It is also influenced by an assessment of selected aspects of the employee’s personal skills.
Various other attractive benefits supplement monetary remuneration, and include:
Discounts on various banking transactions and insurance products
- Public transport subsidy
- Reka travel checks
- Help with child care
- In-house sport and leisure clubs
- Subsidised meals or meals allowances
- Free drinks at work
Working time management
Julius Baer calculates working time on an annual basis. This model is founded on mutual trust and gives the employee a great deal of autonomy in organising his or her day-to-day work.
Staff pensions and insurance benefits
The Julius Baer pension solution is a winner because it allows individuals discretion in choosing their own investment strategy, the amount of the benefits payable and their retirement age from the age of 58 upwards.
It is intended that employees of Julius Baer should feel financially secure even in cases of accident or illness, or during maternity leave. Together with worldwide private accident insurance funded by the employer, Julius Baer also offers all its employees an attractive programme of continued salary payments and has a daily sickness benefits scheme.
